Back to school soon
Where did the summer go? I think this summer has flown by faster than any other in a very long time. My kids start back on Sept 3rd and they are both ready to go. Lindsey will be in the 9th grade and I'm crossing my fingers that this will be her year to excel..I'll take C's but she is an A/B student with F's...not okay. Rachel will do Kindergarten again with advanced reading and math. Friday morning we leave for Reno and will be back Monday night. Maybe I will win millions on the slot machines...you never know.

I have no idea where the summer went. I will have to agree about it being one of the fastest that I can remember. My kids went back to school yesterday. Quite a year - Brett is a Senior and MJ just started middle school. Hopefully Brett will pull it all together and have a good year to make college easier and MJ will make the transition to 7 teachers instead of one smoothly!
Play a slot for me! Maybe you'll have better luck than me! Danielle is in Vegas right now, she said they are pretty much even, which is all you can really hope for!
I don't know where this summer went, either. I do know it was wildly romantic and turbulent at the same time. Gotta take the good with the bad I guess.
Ah, Reno... I almost got kicked out of a casino by a floor boss b/c I wouldn't take my jacket off! Yeah, I know, right: ME!!! Fuck 'em if they didn't want me carrying my Glock in there. It's not like I was gonna shoot him just to watch him die... Jeesh!
