Swimming

Tonight I get Rachel signed up for swimming lessons which start next week. The girl will love it because she would wear a bathing suit 24/7 if she could. She has about 12 of them (from the Torggler girls) and loves to model them. That is the innocence of a child...most women I know would not be interested in modeling bathing suits:)

Juicer

Before work this morning and I had a yummy glass of fresh squeezed apple & grape juice. This weekend I bought myself the Jack LaLanne power juicer. (Do you know that man is 93 years old and works out 2 hours every morning). Anyway, it has a great recipe booklet for any kinds of juice you can think of. This is a great way to get those extra fruits and veggies into my diet when I don't really feel like eating them..I can drink them. The machine is great because you can just throw everything in there and it filters it all..toss in a whole apple, carrot or whatever. This is my new toy!!!

Profit Sharing Day

Today is everyone's favorite day at Precor. This is the day where all of us head out to the movie theater this morning for our yearly sales meeting with the whole company. The president will announce our earnings and let us all know how many hours of pay we get for profit sharing from 2007. (which they will give us tomorrow). Someone asked our president last week at our commercial sales meeting and he referred to the profit sharing as a bowl of soup. He said, "All I will say is that it is a delicious soup and a very large bowl of it. I'm really excited to find out.

Lou Holtz

Yesterday at our sales meeting our guest speaker was Lou Holtz-retired coach from Notre Dame and former coach of the Arkansas Razorbacks. He was incredible..honestly one of the best speakers I have ever heard (and we hear a lot of motivational speakers at Precor). He was inspiring, funny and just so great to listen to. Afterwards we got to have our picture taken with him, received a copy of his latest book and a signed football. It was the perfect end to a wonderful day.

Pampering

I have asked Mike to pick up Rachel from school today instead of me. I am going straight to do 1/2 hour of cardio and then I am walking down the stairs straight into a massage room for an hour of bliss. This is what I will be looking forward to all day.

Passport

I'd better get on the stick as now I can't even go to Canada anymore (which I love) without my passport. With the 2008 laws in effect we can't drive up there anymore without our passports. Maybe if I hurry and get them I will actually get to go to the Dominican Republic sooner.
