Cheer Clinic

Rachel has been in a cheer clinic this week and will be cheering Friday night at half time of the Lake Stevens High School basketball game. Four of the girls in her class are doing this as well and all having so much fun. It's a good confidence builder and team environment as they have to work together. Next is T Ball and the practices start in Feb. Lindsey is going to play indoor soccer right now and both the girls will play on the Lake Stevens Soccer Club teams in the Fall.

I called 911 this morning to report a prowler in my neighborhood. It is a long story but it ended up being a new paper person. You wouldn't have known...it was very suspicious, driving super slow and stopping/backing up in front of houses.

OH the teenage drama

Naomi and Lindsey didn't speak for two weeks because Naomi's boyfriend Jeff and Lindsey like each other and Lindsey kept talking to him on the phone at night and met him at the skatedeck. HMMM..I warned her that friends are first and don't screw up the friendship. Jeff wanted Lindsey as a girlfriend and she refused because of Naomi. Jeff bent Lindsey's cel phone and now you can't see the screen. He promised her $300 to buy a new phone. Well now Lindsey and Naomi have made up and Jeff is pissed at Lindsey for telling on him to Naomi. Now Lindsey is stuck with a broken phone and she currently is in love with Dillon

I wish I had a flying space car like George Jetson and a maid named Rosie who cooked up organic healthy meals and banana splits once a week. Oh and she really needs to keep my house clean and make lunches for school/work. My dog Astro..oh I mean Yogi..would never shit in the house and if he did Rosie would clean it up. I wouldn't have to listen to the guitar 24/7 because I could push a button that allowed me to hear whatever noises I chose in my own home.

Do all teenagers rooms smell or what? Lindsey has to be forced to do her laundry until I can't stand the wet towel aroma lingering into the hallway. The floor is full of clothes and I think when she does wash her clothes half of them are the clean ones thrown on the floor because she seems to wear the same "emo" clothes all the time. Are you an emo or a poser? What in the hell does this mean anyway.

Vegas was a blast. Getting married in a cab was a hoot. The Cirque de Soleil show Love was amazing. You can't help sing along with the Beatles the whole time. The sets were awesome, costumes so colorful and the show itself was breathtaking...it made me very emotional. I wish everyone could see this. Hope everyone had a Happy New Year
